Take Back Tuesday

About a year ago, I received a Rilakkuma patch from one of my YG teachers. I love Rilakkuma, and I was happy that I received such a cute patch! :) I will probably put it on my backpack.

Well, that's it for today! So sorry I didn't have much time to make a more exciting post. :(

Chinese New Year Doll

I already made a Chinese New Year Doll, but I used a 5.5mm crochet hook. This time, I used a 2.00mm crochet hook. For her hair chopsticks, I didn't make the jewels.

I love this picture. :) I placed my doll on top of my favorite plush piggy.

I llloooovvveee how Chinese New Year Doll can stand up by herself. :)

She is really small. Approximately, she is about 5 inches tall.

I didn't make any modifications to the pattern. This doll would make a great gift to any friend. I hope this post helped you know how big Chinese New Year Doll is.

Happy Crocheting!

Striped Bubble Tote Bag

I love tote bags, and I wanted to make a tote bag to hold my yarns. :) I searched on Ravelry and found this pattern. So, I decided to make it! :)  This bag can be very useful. It looks great as a beach bag too! The pattern says to  work in continuous rounds, but I worked in joined rounds. I used the same yarns and hook the pattern called for. For the handles, I chains 50 and did 2 rows of single crochets.

That's it for today!

Baby Koala

I was looking through one of my crochet books and saw this adorable pair of amigurumi koalas!!

I didn't want to make the Mommy Koala, so I decided to only make the Baby Koala!!:)

First, I started to make the head.

Then, I added the eyes and stuffed it.
Next, I cut an oval shape out of black felt and glued it to the baby's face! :)
Then, I made a cute pair of ears and sewed them onto his head.
After that, I made the body and attached it to the head.

After doing this, I was about to give up on making this little guy, because I don't like to make limbs. However, I REALLY wanted to finish him. So, I made all 4 limbs and attached them to his little body. :)

Then!!!!! He was FINALLY done!!! :D I love this little guy... :P
My baby koala is really small. He is probably about 3 inches tall!
This little koala helps Link guard my desk. He's such a good little helper. :)

I hope you enjoyed this post! Please stay tuned for more patterns, tutorials, and more!

Link

I saw this Link on All About Ami's blog, and I knew I HAD to make it. :) The pattern can be found here.

Link is pretty small.

I love how Link can stand by himself. :)

I know this picture is a little disgusting, but I had to show it to you. Link's head can come off!

Since Link's head can come off, I can position his head like this.

Link says bye!! lol

I hope you enjoyed this post. :) Stay tuned for more amigurumi patterns, projects, and more soon!! :)

Late Take Back Tuesday

Who doesn't love friendship bracelets? I love them, but they were very hard for me to make. Someone showed me how to make them recently, and I am addicted to making them!! :) There are 2 ways that I make my bracelets, but I am sure that there are many more ways to make friendship bracelets!! :)

Tutorial: DIY Painted Crochet Hooks

Hey y'all!
To tell you the truth, I don't like DIY crafts. I find them a little too hard for me to do. :( I like them, but they are too hard for me. When I saw this tutorial, I knew i had to make it. However, I didn't have any bobby pins that i wanted to paint, so instead, I made up a tutorial how to paint your crochet hooks into a different color! I had 2 of the same hooks, and I was sick of the color. So, I decided to paint it into a color that I liked! It turned out well, so I wanted to share with y'all how to paint your own crochet hooks!! :)

Materials

  • Crochet hook
  • Nail polish ( you can use any color you want)
  • Construction paper
( I used this pretty metallic blue nail polish for my crochet hook
)
Step 1: Place the crochet hook on the construction paper.
Step 2: Paint the top half of the crochet hook.
 Step 3: Let it dry.
Step 4: Turn the crochet hook and paint the rest of the crochet hook.
Step 5: Let it dry for 1 hour.

Before...
After...

And you're done!! I hoped you enjoyed this blog post. :) Have fun painting your crochet hooks! :P

Happy Crocheting( and Crafting!)!
